THE VOICE’S CLEO HIGGINS & NU-TARNA’S KELLY MARIE IN ‘PROPER SLANGING MATCH’

Things have gotten a bit tense backstage at the Voice it has been reported this morning.

The successful singers who won a place in the battle rounds may have had their dreams come true but the pressure is on to succeed in the next round and apparently the tension has gotten to some more than others.

I loved being on that stage with Nutarna regardless of any pre-disputes♡

I find it disheartening that some people comment on attitue when the whole show is rehearsed before the main stage.
We all knew our steps, our attitudes were purely for entertainment.
It's showbiz, we're meant to have fun and be free to act according to the set up, style and format of a song and for tv the background build up.
We had a blast up there!"
As long as the audience loved it, we did our job correctly.

There has been some bitching and fighting between the girls, if reports are to be believed and The Sun claims that things have come to a head between 90′s pop star Cleo Higgins and fellow singer Kelly Marie.

Kelly is one half of Nu-Tarna and wowed the judges on the show last night, eventually winning herself and former X Factor star Elesha Moses a place on Team will.i.am. In Will’s team they will be in direct competition with former Cleopatra singer Higgins and the newspaper reports that the pair took against each other instantly.



A source said: “Kelly Marie and Cleo rubbed each other up the wrong way the first time they met — and from then on there was a lot of tension between them.

“Eventually it boiled over backstage, and they started having a proper slanging match.”

The supposed insider added: “It was pretty nasty stuff and in the end staff members had to intervene.

“It was painfully obvious they couldn’t stand the sight of each other.”



A spokesperson for the show declined to comment on the story and both singers have been tight lipped on their Twitter pages about any possible bad feeling.

Nu-Tarna did thank Will for choosing them though and tweeted last night saying:

“when u know u havent done ur best yet still fell blessed, love u guys @iamwill u give me hope & inspire me on many levels, u the best xxx”

When a fan tweeted their support, they promised to bring a bigger and better performance in the next round saying:

“awww thank yo , we had such a good time up there next show we show some vocals next round ”
