AFTER JLS SPLIT MARVIN HUMES INSISTS ‘IT’S NOT THE END’ ….WHAT?

JLS may have shocked fans all over the world by announcing their decision to split last week, but band member Marvin Humes has reassured them that things will go on for the band.

The X Factor runners up enjoyed five years in the spotlight before deciding to go their separate ways and have revealed that they will be releasing a new album before the end of the year, as well as performing on a UK wide farewell tour.

“We may have reached the end of the JLS legacy,” Oritsé Williams told Digital Spy.

“But it’s not the end,” added dad to be Marvin Humes.

The lads revealed their decision to split less than a week ago, and it’s been reported that while Marvin and Aston Merrygold want to work on solo music and TV careers, Oritsé will move into music management and J.B. Gill will invest his time in farming.

Marvin admitted that they’re all feeling very emotional and said:

“It’s an emotional time. There’s no getting away from that. We have been through so much together. But we have to be mature and look at this decision as a celebration of what we managed to achieve.

“We never wanted to overstay our welcome. We never wanted to be that band where people said, ‘Oh, b**ody hell. It’s JLS again.’

“We wanted to finish on a high. We’re finishing with an arena tour – our third arena tour – and that is a massive achievement. The last five or so years have been nothing short of incredible. It has been an incredible journey,” he added.

Oritsé broke down in tears when he spoke about the split on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man recently and implied that if the decision lay with him, the band would still be working together.

Marvin seems to the singer most in demand and it was reported today that a bidding war has sparked over the star with bosses on Im A Celebrity, Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice fighting to get him for their lineup.
