*As previously reported, the Jay-Z and Kanye West collabo “Watch the Throne” picked up three Grammys on Sunday. Their track “No Church in the Wild” earned best rap/sung collaboration, and “Ni**as in Paris” won for best rap performance and best rap song.

The duo lost to Drake’s “Take Care” in the best rap album category.

Elsewhere, two of 2012’s breakthrough stars in R&B went home with hardware. Although Frank Ocean missed out on best new artist to the rock band Fun., he pocketed best urban contemporary album for his debut “Channel Orange.” He also hit the stage with just his keyboard and a video screen to perform the track “Forrest Gump.”

Miguel, meanwhile, earned best R&B song for “Adorn” and had the Staples Center on swoon during his performance of the track with Wiz Khalifa.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine took to the stage with his band to perform “Daylight” before Alicia Keys joined them and the duo launched into a duet of “Girl on Fire,” with keys on the drums.

Justin Timberlake returned to the Grammy stage for the first time since 2009 with a retro-soul performance of “Suit & Tie” (Jay-Z took the stage directly from his seat in the audience to drop his verse) and “Pusher Love Girl,” both from his upcoming album, “The 20/20 Experience.”

Rihanna – who came to the show with Chris Brown just four years after he gave her a pre-Grammy beat down – delivered her stripped-down ballad “Stay,” and then later teamed with Bruno Mars, Sting and two of Bob Marley’s sons for a spirited Bob Marley tribute.

Later, Mavis Staples joined Elton John, Zac Brown and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes for “The Weight,” in memory of The Band’s Levon Helm, who died last year.
