MEL B has been promised a full-time X Factor job — if she quits the Aussie version.
*Scary Spice’s brutal honesty and withering put-downs at the auditions impressed bosses so much she was first choice for this year’s talent contest.

But Mel, 37, was too busy filming the show Down Under so they signed Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger to join Tulisa Contostavlos.

However, they are doing all they can to get Mel for 2013.

A source said: “Mel was our first choice. She was so quick and honest. You can’t let everyone down gently or the praise is meaningless.

“There’s a lot of money on the table for her next year.”

After seeing Mel stand in on the ITV1 show on Saturday, fans went online to say they preferred her to Nicole.

Mel jetted off to the Czech Republic’s capital after performing at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics with her Spice Girls bandmates last Sunday. She has tweeted pictures of herself drinking shots and beer and partying with Stephen and her friends while tweeting about how much fun she is having.

She tweeted: ”Running in 7 inch louboutin no good!! I’m wearing prauge on my face!!!”

— and yesterday flew back to Sydney, Australia, with a dressing on her left cheek after stumbling in her 7-Inch Louboutins on Friday.
