BOBBY BROWN'S REHAB STINT WON'T HELP SAYS BOBBI KRISTINA
Bobby Brown checked into rehab this week as part of a court mandated punishment for his March DUI arrest.
*While Bobby's new wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, tells the media her hubby is "mentally in a great place" and thanks his fans for the concern, his only daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, has a different opinion.
When asked by reporters if her dad was "rising above" his alcohol issues, she quipped: "rising above is not the word you should use...not at all."
Which leads us to believe his booze problems might be more severe.
Meanwhile, Bobby told the press in May that he'll "always" worry Bobbi Kristina inherited the addictive gene for substances that plagued both he and Whitney. That being said, he doesn't believe his daughter is using now.
As for his own substance abuse, he denies using drugs but admits to still enjoying alcohol.
"I'm living the life that I want to live," he said. "(The doubters) can doubt all they want."
