MELISSA DRUMMOND: BREAKING THROUGH WITH CLICHÉ MODEL MANAGEMENT

Melissa Drummond a model from Manchester who is launching her own promotional and modelling agency for mainly Black and Mixed race girls in Manchester and the North West.

Melissa has been modelling mainly part time for the past 7 years or so, with her big break being a finalist for the Miss Black Britain competition back in 2007.

At the time Melissa was working at the BBC as a production assistant.

She also graduated with a degree in Journalism and English Literature.

Melissa has experience working as a Broadcast Assistant. for Key 103 Radio station

"Modelling has always been a passion of mine but I always like to do other things professionally like media, marketing and promotional work."

Melissa is now a Marketing Professional, and has experience working at major retailers and companies in the North West. She is also an Editorial Assistant at a charity based organisation.

"All my experience of these industries as well as my passion for promoting Black Culture, beauty and events has lead me to start my own modelling agency to promote our people."

As a model with friends in the industry Melissa, is no stranger to the many challenges and barriers for people of colour when trying to break through, in the professional media and modelling world."

Cliché is a new promotional and modelling agency to support the beautiful kinky, curly, full lips, full hips, women of colour in Manchester.

I am holding a Model casting on Saturday 2nd June @ Bohemia in Castlefield, M3 4RU. from 11:00am until 4:00pm for girls who think they fit the bill and are confident, sexy and just beautiful in their own skin.

Women from all backgrounds can apply as long as they fit the criteria of being sexy, having beautiful shape and figure.

Confidence in photoshoots in a must, so if your sexy and you know it please come down and fill in a quick registration form and have your picture taken on the day.

The selected girls will get a free top of the range photoshoot!!! Models and hostesses will be used for events (including fashion, sports, music and charity), exhibitions, music videos, festivals and much more!!
