PHARRELL MAKES HISTORY WITH 24-HOUR VIDEO FOR ‘HAPPY’

No, you didn't read that wrong - the video really does take TWENTY FOUR HOURS to watch, but luckily we've got one that lasts just four minutes

TWENTY FOUR HOURS LONG - "we're still not over it" - Splash

*Pharrell Williams has created the world's first 24-hour music video.

The singer - who recently revealed that he is obsessed with Einstein's process of tapping into the ether - has made history with the very, very, very long video for his new single Happy, which would take a day to watch in full.

The soul-infused song, which features on the soundtrack of animated flick Despicable Me 2, was premiered on a dedicated site called 24hoursofhappy.com.

As much as we love recently married Pharrell - which is a lot - even we wouldn't be happy if we had to spend a full day and night watching him do anything.

The video boasts a full 24 hours of footage of dozens of individuals dancing down the street and in various indoor locations, interspersed with sequences starring Pharrell himself, as the track plays in a loop in the background.

At least it's not another Blurred Lines! We don't think we could survive 24-hours of that, Neptunes frontman or no.

Jamie Foxx, Kelly Osbourne, US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, Magic Johnson, funnyman Steve Carell, and many more make cameo appearances the very long music video that no one will ever watch because no one is that mad.

Though if you don't have the time to spare then you can click on an interactive clock face to select any moment throughout the day, from 'sunrise' to 'sunset'.

Viewers will also have the ability to comment on certain sections and share moments online via Twitter and Facebook.

Thankfully there's also a normal-length video for those of who haven't got a spare day to waste.
