BLACK EYED PEAS ON BREAK, BUT WILL.I.AM RELEASING NEW MUSIC

*While the Black Eyed Peas have taken a break, Will.i.am is married to music and won’t stop living it, ever.

He may not be rocking the stage as the front man most of us know him for, but he’s keeping busy writing or making music for other people.

“I just love music,” he said during a segment on 92.3 NOW/New York. “Whether it’s making music or other people or writing a song for this album I’m doing, ‘#will power’.”

He collaborated with Eva Simons for the album’s first single, “This Love,” which is blowing up across the pond.

“The U.K. just jumps on things quick [The Black Eyed Peas] ‘Where Is the Love’ took off first in the U.K. LMFAO’s career first took off in the U.K. There’s a different breed of music lovers there,” he said.

Will has some other stuff up his sleeve though. Not too long ago we heard about a different project, “Black Einstein.”

“That album is a separate album, yeah that record’s done,” he said. “Black Einstein is like a hip hop/jazz album where it’s reminiscent to A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Brand Nubians, Black Sheep.”
