RIHANNA UK REALITY SHOW: STYLED TO ROCK
Rihanna's
latest interest takes her to the wonderful world of reality!
*It's long been rumored that the "We Found Love" singer would be
hosting a fashion reality show, but now it's finally official.
Ri-Ri is signed on to executive produce and appear on the new style competition, "Styled to Rock," which will air on the U.K.'s Sky Living HD network for ten weeks in August.
"I've always loved fashion," Barbados-born Rihanna says in the teaser trailer for the new series. "Fashion has helped shape me into the artist that I am today.
The show will spotlight the stylish singer -- who is expected to move to the U.K. temporarily for filming -- as she mentors young British designers towards success, alongside her own stylist, Lisa Cooper, fashion designer Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts of pop girl group Girls Aloud.
"I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage," said Rihanna in a press release. "I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."
The final challenge of the series, the show's website explains, will be to design a stage outfit for one of Rihanna's live performances. Will you be tuning in when the show airs next month?
