DMX FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY; RELEASES STATEMENT

*When DMX got busted last week in South Carolina for driving without a license, dash-cam video showed – and he confirmed when asked by the state trooper what kind of car he was driving – an old beat up 1978 Plymouth station wagon.

It’s obvious X has fallen on some hard times. Now, according to his publicist, Domenick Nati, the down-on-his-luck rapper has filed for bankruptcy.

Below is the statement about DMX’s bankruptcy filing.

“DMX’s financial strains have been inhibiting his career for several years. Poor financial management by prior representation have caused him to be ineligible to retain a passport. The purpose of this bankruptcy filing is for reorganization so he can perform for his fans oversees. We are currently planning a tour in Europe and Africa for the fall of 2013.”
